These markers can be made of iron or comprise natural peaks, monuments, pillars or stonewalls. They are physical elements that clearly indicate the location of the boundary. Boundary markers are essential to establish and maintain clear borders and prevent territorial disputes.<br \/>\nBoundary markers are represented by a layer of lines with vectorial characteristics, to be downloaded, used and visualized in projects in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software in an shp format.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Layer data:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Projection: Sirgas Chile<\/li>\n<li>Scale: 1:50,000<\/li>\n<li>Current version: 1.0<\/li>\n<li>Date of creation:\u00a0 January 5, 2024.<\/li>\n<li>Contact: infodifrol@minrel.gob.cl<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. The Boundary Markers Public Information Layer is intended to provide geographic and locational data for the general public\u2019s knowledge and accessibility.<br \/>\n2. Geographic measurement systems undergo updates and improvements that may impact the data that are transferred to digital viewers. In light of the above, there may be discrepancies with other open sources and, as such, it is a work that must be progressively and permanently updated.<br \/>\n3.
