Update of the IDE DIFROL Applications<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

The National Department of State Borders and Boundaries is pleased to announce the update of its three IDE DIFROL applications on the institutional website, now available in a new optimized version. This update features enhanced color palettes specifically designed to provide greater clarity and contrast, making data interpretation easier.<\/p>\n

It is also important to mention that color palettes suitable for people with color blindness were implemented, improving the understanding and visualization of the information DIFROL makes available to the public.<\/p>\n

One of the updated applications is the Map Viewer, which displays DIFROL territorial information layers, such as the International Border, Border Crossings, Boundary Markers, among others.<\/p>\n

Additionally, as part of this update, the Story Maps were also improved. These highlight relevant information about the Integration and Border Committees, providing users with a more comprehensive geographic context.<\/p>\n

The update of these applications was carried out using specialized ArcGIS software, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the data presented in the maps.<\/p>\n
