Workshop on the International Labour Organization<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

A Workshop on Convention 190 of the International Labor Organization (ILO) was held on August 18. This activity was co-organized by the National Department of State Borders and Boundaries and the Vice-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stems from the commitments of the Director of Borders, aimed at promoting an optimal organizational environment and fostering a gender perspective.<\/p>\n

The presentation was led by Patricia Roa, Programming Officer of the Office of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for the Southern Cone of Latin America, and included the participation of Mrs. Gloria de la Fuente, Vice-Ministress of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Carlos Dettleff, National Director of State Borders and Boundaries.<\/p>\n

During the event, which was attended by officials from DIFROL and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the speaker and authorities stressed the value of creating safe and inclusive workspaces, where respect prevails and the dignity of each person is emphasized.<\/p>\n

The Vice-Ministress noted that opportunities like these, allow us to “acquire knowledge and practical tools that strengthen our capacities to prevent, detect, and respond to situations of violence and harassment at work,” which contribute to building a work culture where diversity is valued and each person can develop fully, without fear and with dignity.<\/p>\n

The Convention N\u00b0190 and the Recommendation N\u00b0206 are the first international labor standards that provide a common framework to prevent, remedy, and eradicate violence and harassment in the world of work, including gender-based violence and harassment.<\/p>\n
