Mid-Term Meeting Chile-Perú 2024
In Arica, on August 20, 2024, in compliance with Article 8 of the Regulations of the Chile-Peru Border Integration and Development Committee (CIDF), the delegations of both countries met, chaired by the Director of Borders, Mr. Pedro Pablo Silva Sánchez, and by Minister Raúl Hidalgo Gallegos, Director of Border Development and Integration of the General Directorate of the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
The meeting was attended by the Regional Governor of Arica y Parinacota, Mr. Jorge Diaz Ibarra and the Regional Presidential Delegate, Mr. Ricardo Sanzana Oteíza.
The delegations reviewed the progress of the agreements reached at the XII Meeting of the CIDF, held on November 8 and 9, 2023, in the city of Tacna, noting with satisfaction the high level of progress achieved in various areas.
