On August 13 and 14, 2025, the 39th Meeting of the Cristo Redentor Integration Committee took place. This bilateral cooperation forum addresses issues of border interest to the Chilean region of Valparaíso and the Argentine provinces of Mendoza and San Luis.

This committee is meeting again after six years of inactivity, serving as a bilateral forum for adopting commitments on issues of common interest to the participating regions and provinces. These committees meet through thematic working groups. Ten committees met for this meeting, with more than 100 attendees who attended the locations set up for these events in the cities of Concón and Valparaíso.

During the second day, the Dissemination Talk Series “Conferences on international cooperation, integration, and good practices of national organizations for regional border development” was successfully held. Seven experts brought together the delegations to share examples of successful experiences on issues of bilateral interest.
